What Can You Submit?
- Original Research: Present new findings from your own experiments or studies.
- Literature Review: Summarize and discuss the current state of research on a topic.
- Opinion or Perspective: Offer your unique viewpoint on a scientific, STEM, or social science issue.
- Science Communication: Write articles that make complex topics accessible to a broad audience.

Submission Guidelines
- All work must be your own and not previously published.
- Use MLA format for all citations and references.
- Write in clear, US English and check for grammar and spelling.
- Plagiarism is not tolerated and will result in rejection.

Detailed Paper Guidelines
- Who Can Submit: Submissions are open to students who are currently in middle school or high school.
- Required Paper Structure: Each paper must include the following sections:
- Abstract
- Introduction
- Methods / Discussion
- Results
- Conclusion
- References (all sources must be cited)
- Formatting: All papers must be double-spaced and use MLA format for citations and references.
- File Types: All submissions must be in Word (.doc or .docx) or PDF format. Submit your paper as a Word document or PDF file.
- Plagiarism: There should be no plagiarism. All work must be original and written by the submitting student(s).
- AI Usage: We encourage the use of AI as a tool for brainstorming, research, and idea generation. However, AI should not write the research paper. All writing must be done by a human. Submissions written by AI will not be accepted.
