NextGen Scholars is a student-led academic journal committed to providing a professional platform for young researchers to share their discoveries, insights, and original ideas with the world. Our mission is to empower high school and early college students by showcasing their work in a space that values rigor, creativity, and collaboration. We believe that age should never be a barrier to contribution, and through peer engagement and academic publishing, we are fostering the next wave of scholars and innovators.
My name is Srijan Vemireddy, and I am a 2027 high school graduate with a strong passion for both academics and athletics. I founded NextGen Scholars to create a space where students like myself can publish and engage with meaningful research early in their academic journeys. I plan to pursue a pre-medical track in college, driven by a deep interest in science and a commitment to making a positive impact in healthcare. Outside of the classroom, I play competitive soccer at the MLS NEXT level and aim to continue competing at the collegiate level. I believe in balencing ambition with purpose and through this journal, I hope to empower the next generation of scholars to do the same.
At NextGen Scholars, our mission is to break down barriers to academic publishing by empowering high school and early-college students to share their research with the world. We strive to cultivate intellectual growth, encourage curiosity, and amplify youth voices across disciplines. By providing a platform for peer-reviewed student work, we hope to inspire the next generation of scholars, thinkers, and changemakers.
